In my spare time, I enjoy creating fan-made Overwatch UI concepts based on my own experiences with the game. Some explore areas that could be clearer or more useful, while others are simply features, changes, or jokes I would love to see in-game. Each project gives me a chance to experiment with custom UI/UX while keeping the designs authentic to Overwatch’s established visual style.

MAIN MENU
The 2026 main menu overhaul was often criticised for feeling unfinished and resembling a mobile game. I kept the existing layout but layered the navigation bar over the content to make the design feel more intentional and lean more into a futuristic HUD aesthetic. I also placed the hero on a more engaging background that could also be updated to reflect the game's lore.

INTEL DATABASE
I wanted the Story tab to feel more immersive by expanding on the existing Story Missions UI. Rather than only highlighting the latest releases, it could bring together stories about Overwatch’s heroes, factions, and history, alongside features like the inbox, many of which already exist in the game. Reusing Winston’s room in Gibraltar would give the menu more personality, while leaving space for new details and easter eggs to appear as the narrative progresses.
OVERWATCH ESPORTS SKINS
Currently, every Overwatch Esports skin exists as a separate item, meaning players can end up with hundreds of versions of the same default skin in different team colours. By using the customisation UI developed for Mythic skins, these could be consolidated into a smaller set of base skins, with players able to apply or purchase the team branding they have unlocked.
END OF MATCH FLOW
Before post-match accolades were introduced, Overwatch 2’s end-of-match flow offered little room for interaction or social engagement. I explored a few alternative designs, including one that brought back post-match voting cards and another that built on what we had.
SUPPORT A CREATOR
Games like Fortnite have shown how 'Support a Creator' programs can give communities a simple way to support the people who make content around those games. As a creator myself, I wanted to explore how that pop-up could look in Overwatch.
skin boosts
Inspired by League of Legends’ skin boost feature, I explored how a similar system could work in Overwatch, allowing one player to activate a boost that temporarily grants their teammates a skin for the duration of the match.
OVERWATCH LEAGUE MENU
The Overwatch League menu felt sparse and was basically just a bland storefront, so I reimagined it as a complete Overwatch esports hub. The concept brought videos, match replays, and more into one place, making it easier for players to follow the competitive scene directly in-game.
